Heather O’Brien, CEO of Lifestyle Workweek, founded the company to break free from her demanding consulting career. Heather’s philosophy centers on the importance of enjoying what you do and striving to make it the best possible, a principle she embodies in her personal life.

Karen Floyd has dedicated her life to giving sound to silence. Raised in New Jersey by high-achieving parents—a Fortune 50 executive father and a United Way leader mother—I was inspired to dedicate my life to excellence. Fueled by a passion for ballet, I delved into 6 weekly classes at age 10, participating in prestigious New Jersey Ballet performances, including a coveted role in “The Nutcracker.” Despite facing challenges like my parents’ divorce and the loss of grandparents, my commitment to excellence extended beyond the stage.
My journey began at Boston College, followed by a fellowship at the University of Michigan’s Ross Business School. I entered the corporate realm, starting at Boise Cascade Office Products Division and later joining IBM for my marketing expertise. My career thrived with successful project launches, and amid professional accomplishments, I built a family, joyfully welcoming 2 daughters into my life.
